  According to their grand-daughter, Grace Gilbert Munoz: "Isidore and Rose owned a liquor store. But it was in Rose's name, as was the liquor license. This is because Isidore had a “minor” criminal conviction for bootlegging. They would make whiskey in the bathtub, put it in bottles in the stroller, and put baby Jack in the stroller, then deliver the bottles. Of course the joke is that Uncle Jack was raised on liquor!"
